Fruit Logistica 2026 in Berlin was once again an important platform for WBG Pooling to exchange ideas, gain market insights, and network internationally. Over three days, we welcomed numerous visitors to our newly designed booth in Hall 20 and held discussions with partners, customers, and interested parties.

Expert input at the Fresh Produce Forum

In addition to our presence at the booth, a particular highlight was our presentation in the Fresh Produce Forum.

Under the title “Current Landscape for F&V Sector,” Saday Flórez (Country Sales Manager ES/PT | Sales Market EU) presented key developments and challenges in the fruit and vegetable sector.

His presentation focused on:

• regulatory changes brought about by the PPWR and increasing requirements for reuse
• the growing need for automation in operational processes
• the role of digitalization and clear identification of reusable load carriers
• the transition from linear packaging models to closed-loop systems

It became clear that sustainability, efficiency, and transparency are already strategic success factors—not optional add-ons.

Lively exchange – clear prospects for the future

The trade fair once again demonstrated how dynamically the market is developing. Regulatory frameworks, technological advances, and increasing demands on the supply chain are noticeably changing existing structures.
